Pietersen finally admits he is not good at Twenty20!
Kevin Pietersen has finally admitted that he is not good at twenty20. Why it took him so long is unknown. Why Mallya did not understand this simple fact? He spent $1.55 million on him which is still a mystery.
Pietersen was a disaster, as was predicted here. He did not have any impact as a captain or a player. Kumble took over and turned it dramatically to take Royal challengers to final of IPL – II.
Pietersen seems to have worked out few things to improve him in this format. We know the pride he takes in his performances and ego that fuels his ambitions.
Those shots or theories should be on show in the coming weeks. He called the twenty20 silly game with silly shots 2 years ago. Now has taken it seriously.
