IPL – Does it care for Women Dignity ?
In a sharp and direct attack on IPL disrespecting women PInky Khoabane asks some releveant questions.
Its an interesting article, which shows IPL organizers in their right spirits. IPL is not the only sports event that uses the cheerleaders. Lower level it stoops to bring audience is shocking.
Cheerleaders did not play direct role in sports. They satisfied the voyeuristic male audience with their gyrations. Cameraman had been briefed and they executed it to perfection. Showing skin and wobbles was their duty.
Taking dig on beauty pageant, this was forced on spectators. “Imagine leaving home to watch a cricket match, only to be selected to parade in a pageant. Good grief.
Lalit Modi is senseless money seeker. he runs IPL for money. He will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Ms Bollywood and Cheerleaders, whatnot?
Lots of questions for Gender activist and even the South African people.
Commentators in IPL, with exception of Harsh Bogle and Sunil Gavaskar are filthy and crap.
