Rohit Sharma the bowler: Surprise of IPL – II
Rohit Sharma is among the top run getters in this edition. It was expected. But who would have guessed him to break into Top bowlers list in IPL-II. Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma have surprised everyone with their bowling skills.
Yuvi bowls, we all know. Suresh Riana contained Yuvraj Singh and Mahela Jayawrdhane with his flattish off-spinners to win a game. He has continued to bowl in subsequent matches.
Biggest surprise is Rohit Sharma. Bowling his dilly dollies to get 10 wickets in few matches he has bowled. His average, strike rate and economy all are impressive. He will get into Top 10 bowlers list pretty soon.
All this augurs well for India. With Harbhajan Singh off color so far, these 3 bowlers with Yusuf Pathan and Virender Sehwag can more than do the 4th and 5th bowlers job. Dhoni can pack his team with batsmen and go for the kill.
