Bret Lee returns and how well!
One of the hardest sights in cricket is see a premier fast bowler in the world reduced to a no entity. Too much cricket, injury and separation from wife all together had left him on sidelines. He is tough nut and a champion bowler.
I did not see him bowl against Pakistan twenty20 but here against Chargers he bowled well. Good pace, control and variety all were on show. He had to face his mates in Gilchrist and rampaging Symonds. Throw in Gibbs as add on.
He bowled superbly to all of them. Contained Gilchrist and Symonds, got a wicket of Rohit Sharma. His 4 over cost Kings XI 24 runs for a wicket. Showed great athleticism, threw himself around and save some important runs for his team.
All this should bode well for Aussies. Lee and Johnson at their best would revive them. As an Indian, I would want to beat best Aussies team.
