Deccan Chargers-Losing the charge?
Deccan chargers were the Knight riders of last edition. They started this edition with a bang. Winning 4 of 4 and topping a points table for a while. Now, seem to losing the way. Having lost 3 of 3 and on their way to lose the 4th one too.
Has this something to do with Fidel Edwards or Herschelle Gibbs? No team should be dependent on a single player. It was a total team effort that contributed to all of their 4 wins. Suddenly wheels seem to be coming off.
No one can really pin point a reason or two for this. Though, I feel not getting starts is affecting them big time with Gibbs getting duck after duck. So would be the absence of Edwards.
Well whatever they do, they can’t match Knight Riders, so they would have improved on their last edition placing.
That’s how funny cricket is. You string together some good performances; you are at the top. Do the opposite you end up at the bottom.
RP Singh has rocked Mumbai Indians with 2 wickets in 2 balls. As I close this match seems to be in balance.
