Shah Rukh Khan will not return to South Africa
Call me cynical if you want, Yes; Shah Rukh Khan is not returning to South Africa unless his team starts winning. Well that looks like a distant dream at this point. Guess what, they lost to losers err! I mean Challengers.
If you lose to a bunch of losers, then there is no way you can win against better teams. So King Khan can rest assured that he doesn’t have to return.
Was he really passionate about owning a franchisee? Does he really back the team and coach that he handpicked? No. He wanted to get into this, cause of money and glamour involved.
Team needs him the most now. Instead he comes out in open and says he does not want to return till they start winning. Well, if you don’t back your team when losing, who else will? He should be backing team to hilt and reassure that he stands by them through thick and thin.
Did he think for a minute about how Sourav would feel about captaincy being stripped? Did he think before making comments about Sunil Gavaskar,
Buchanan and his theories are laughing stock now. He says Twenty20 is more intense than Tests and ODI. We did not know it all these days. This is the format you thought would need multiple captains and great ideas.
Rajasthan Royals have Coach and Captain combined into one in Shane Warne. Look at Knight Riders with multiple captains and huge support staff and coaches.
One is at bottom and other is on revival.
