Barack Obama meets Brian Lara
Yes it is the US president. Barack Obama met with the Michael Jordan of cricket, Brian Lara. It might be the first time an US president has met with a cricketer. That is important as the US doesn’t have a significant presence on Cricket map.
Lara taught Obama a bit about cricket which Obama tried hard to learn. Playing cricket is not as easy as sitting in the Oval office. The vice versa is also true. And no, Lara did not give any lessons on how to get out of the recession.
Who will Obama meet next? Tendulkar?
Come to think of it, do you really think that Lara is the Michael Jordan of cricket or is it Tendulkar? (via The Buzz)
