Delhi DareDevils Team -2009
Sehwag, Gambhir, AB de Villiers, David Warner, Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood, Tilakaratne Dilshan and Dinesh Kartik are all little dynamos who could turn out to be devils for the bowlers on their day.
They won seven of their 14 games last year. Lost to Rajasthan Royals in semifinals, by a massive margin of 105 runs. Gambhir and Sehwag were top run getters in IPL last edition with 534 and 406 runs respectively.
AB de Villiers has matured and knows what he is capable of. David Warner the overnight Twenty20 sensation of Australia is there too. Collingwood and Dilshan can bowl which can prolong their batting line up. Vettori can bat! They will attack bowlers from word go!
Glenn McGrath and Daniel Vettori will lead the bowling attack with Nehra. 21-year-old Indian Yo Mahesh was one of the finds of IPL, taking 16 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 23.12. Farveez Maharoof took 15 wickets in just 10 games at a superb average of 16.60

Strengths: Batting. its full of exciting stroke makers who live and die by the sword.
Weakness: Bowling. Injuries to 1-2 main bowlers will leave them in disarray, which they might not be able to recover from. Keep praying all your main bowlers last through the tournament.
Manoj Tiwary and Pradeep Sangwan could and should shine.
AB de Villiers and Owais Shah are the ones to watch out for. Gambhir, Sehwag we know what they can do. It could be last time we might see great McGrath.
Prediction: Should reach Semi finals based on their batting might. If not they would have disappointed themselves more than fans.
