Its official! Tendulkar is god
India, cricket and Tendulkar are inseparable. Most of the fans in India don’t know the age of Tendulkar. To them he is the boy who grew up before them. Many also think that he is good for many more years.
In some countries this might be called as admiration. But in India it is worship. If cricket is a temple then Tendulkar is god. Part of the reason is - India is short of heroes and Tendulkar has filled that void for 18 years.
There are artists who are painting Tendulkar in the moulds of Lord Hanuman. Who knows a century down the line there might be temples and people will still be worshipping Tendulkar. In this new age even gods need sponsors. Way to go MRF.
