DADA booted out of KKR captaincy !
Saurav Ganguly has been stripped of captaincy of KKR. John Buchanan announced this during a press conference few moments back in Kolkata. Brendon McCollum, Chris Gyle and Brad Hodge might be few options that KKR has as of now !
John Buchanan in bringing in his parallel thinking and has plans of multiple captain. A fielding captain and bowling captain. Only he knows what are those responsible to do. May be too many cooks, sorry captains might spoil the match. There might different captains taking priorities at different times.
An interesting idea none the less. John Buchanan had successfully introduced few different things when he was with Australia. Those ideas clicked not cause they were great, but the team had great players who could do nothing wrong.
Dada says he is “not too upset about it”. He says his job is to score runs and take wickets. This is might be beginning of end of Saurav Ganguly from KKR. Buchanan has said that he would have been upset if he was Saurav. And goes onto say that there are no rifts between them. I believe him completely.
Interesting will be the how Kolkata reacts to this.
PS: John Buchanan feels Saurav is liability as he is not playing any compititive cricket.
