Incidentally, India pulled out of Pakistan tour after Mumbai terrorist attacks. Looks like it is the best thing that India could have done. In case of India the attack could have been much severe and brutal.

Is this a good indication that Pakistan is not a good destination overall and definitely not a cricket hosting nation? I think so. It is not just but many incidents which rule out Pakistan as a venue. Though it would be brutal to ban the team entirely, the cricketing world should make a decision to ban the country from hosting any international matches.

Pakistan cricket would suffer immensely from this unofficial embargo. There might not even be a good Pakistan team coming out. It could as well be like the Zimbabwe team.

That would be unfortunate but we live in a dangerous world and we cannot really separate geo-politics from sports.

Is this is the beginning of the end of Pakistani cricket?
