Emerging players tournament
We have heard about emerging economies and emerging stars but not emerging players. Now we will. BCCI has chosen the team for the emerging players tournament to be held in Australia. The tournament will be held from July 14-26. Ironically this would be a one-day tournament and not 20-20. Parthiv Patel will lead the team in the emerging players tournament. Shikar Dhawan and Abhishek Nayar are also part of this squad.
There is one more tournament to be held in Israel. This would be 3-one-day match affair with Israel starting from July 10 to July 16. The team will be lead by Jayadev Shah (son of BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah). Swapnil Asnodkar and Wriddiman Saha are part of this team.
Indian team for Israel : Jaydev Shah (captain), Swapnil Asnodkar, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravi Teja, M. Vijay, Wriddhiman Saha, Rajat Bhatia, Yogesh Takawale, Rakesh Dhruv, Mohnish Parmar, Vishal Bhatia, Basant Mohanty, Pradeep Sangwan, Ashok Dinda and Vinay Kumar.
Emerging Indian Players team for Australia : Parthiv Patel (captain), S. Badrinath (vice-captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Manoj Tiwari, Abhishek Nayar, Virat Kohli, Amit Mishra, Pankaj Singh, Manpreet Gony, Siddharth Trivedi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Iqbal Abdulla, Ravinder Jadeja and Pinal Shah.
Its sure raining tournaments in the cricket world.
