Video : Shah Rukh Ganguly tiff
Times Now’s interesting video about Shah Rukh and Ganguly’s rift. They had four in total. Wow. That’s more than what Mallya had. I thought it was a triangular war. But, looks like Shah Rukh and John Buchanan are on one side and dada on the other side. Watch the video below :
Rift 1 : Ganguly wanted Gilchrist, SRK and Buchanan wanted McCullum
Rift 2 : Ganguly wanted more batsmen, Buchanan said more bowlers.
Rift 3 : SRK wanted taxes to be waived off with the help of Ganguly. Ganguly has to speak with West Bengal Chief Minister for this. Ganguly did not budge
Rift 4 : Buchanan sent 5 players from the team packing. Ganguly was against it.
It was team after team coming out with these excuses, media releases and leaked SMS’s once they start losing. I think there should be a code of conduct for the team owners as well along with players. There is a limit to what can make its way to the media. Or, are they following the principle of any publicity is good publicity and leaking the news to the media. Or is it the media which is doing an excellent job of reporting all these things to the public. I am really not sure anymore. IPL might well be the biggest reality show on earth if things are not controlled in time.
