Shah Rukh and the SMS

With no hope of making it to the semi-finals, media abound with reports of a rift in the team, Shah Rukh is not a happy man. Shah Rukh is dodging media, ICC, anti-corruption officials and a bitter loss of his team. Add to that Aamir Khan and Amithab Bachan’s blog, Shah Rukh might find it really tough. But just when things are falling apart, when ordinary men say I give up, Shah Rukh has risen from down under. He has answered all his critics, lifted the morale of the team, sent a note to ICC in just one SMS. He sent a long SMS to the team which has some management advice which some of our leaders can use. In a single note he has apologized, fired up, showed some love and told the team to held their heads up.

Few highlights:

  • Ignore the bit about dada me and john having issues.
  • I am not owner who has issues when team is losing.
  • I am too much of sport myself to get beaten by defeats.
  • I am trying to understand code of conduct expected of me at matches.
  • I am as dedicated to my knights as I am to my kids.
  • I am anti-establishment kinda of guy. I apologize for this quirk.
  • We have nothing to lose now except our character.
  • I will be with you at hotel and meetings but not at matches.
