Ajantha Mendis to join Knight Riders
New Srilankan spinner Ajantha Mendis will be joining Knight Riders. 23 year old Mendis has signed a 3 year deal. Not sure what the total amount is. He has a different way of releasing the ball just like Murali. He can deliver a doosra as well as a googly. I havent seen an off-spinner bowling a google.Check out his action in the video below. Wait for Marlon Samuels being bowled in the video.
It would be interesting to see what he would be doing with the Knight Riders not that they are out of the tournament. Also, one of his team mate Kaushal Weeraratne was asked to join the training camp. But he should be aware that Knight Riders has a history of kicking the players out of the camp without giving them a chance.
