IPL players are not getting paid

Atleast the australians are not getting paid. As many as three australian players have complained about them not receiving the money, reports Sydney Morning Herald.

I am not sure what the reason is but when you consider the amount of money the teams have and they are willing to spend, the money these players are waiting for is a pittance. Why in the world would you want to stop a payment for some players and delay the proceedings for others. If you pay well they play well. It is that simple. You might get away this time but if the IPL authorities open up the bidding to a free float of players then the richer franchises might throw the money around and get the players they want. Then, your cheap act of not paying the players or delaying the payment will come back and haunt you. The players will be loyal to the clubs as long as they get their money in time.

There cannot be any mistakes from the player side nor the franchisee side. That is the new model of cricket. Gone were the days of BCCI where everything was swept under the rug. Now everything is open. Welcome to the open source cricket : IPL. I am loving it.
