Bhajji banned for 5 ODI’s
Harbhajan Singh is banned for 5 ODI’s or 3 Tests starting today. That means he will miss the upcoming Bangladesh series and first 2 matches of Asia Cup. If his heroics continue he might face a life ban. I think Harbhajan was let off easily, thanks to his friendship with Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar has said that losing 2.6 crores is a punishment enough. Well, I disagree. If money is the only form of punishment in this world then people would do many things and easily get away. Just like Harbhajan did. BCCI should have given much harsher punishment and some fine too.
Also, Sreesanth was warned. If his on field behavior does not improve he might face some strict action to be taken. I am not sure if they meant the crying on field or his constant using of abusive language against his opponents.
